Restaurants:
Antigua Bodega D
San Fernando 401
Miraflores, Lima
255-7047
Mediteranean- This is one our favorites, partly because it's in our neighborhood and is so convenient. The food is excellent- our favorites are the cazuela, a hearty seafood stew, and the pecan pie. The atmosphere is warm and intimate, staff is wonderful.
Vertical
Bolognesi 143
Miraflores, Lima
243-6513
Nuevo Peruvian- This restaurant is listed in tripadvisor as Oztia, but the name has been changed. We dined at Vertical with a large group and had a great time. The pisco sours were delicious, and the Osobuco was heavenly. The staff was very friendly and helpful, nice atmosphere too.
Edo Sushi Bar
Berlin 601
Miraflores, Lima
243-2448
edosushibar.com
Sushi- Edo has an extensive menu with a variety of peruvian fusion sushi. There are not many raw maki options but they have raw sashimi and sushi. Fun and modern environment.
Parks:
Bosque de Olivar
The bosque is a beautiful park in San Isidro, full of old olive trees and a large coy fish pond. Every time we have visited there have been lots of people out, relaxing in the grass, playing with their children or dogs. It is a rare quiet respite from the constant traffic noise in Lima.
